Professional Membership
For the professional in roles related to human resources disciplines like compensation, training, development, talent acquisition, talent management, recruiting, staffing, payroll, HR technology, employee relations, coaching, and employment law attorneys.

Affiliate Membership
For the non-Human Resource professionals, such as carriers, brokers, financial executives, and anyone who markets products and/or services to HR professionals, and includes all privileges of the Professional Membership.

New Student Membership
A Student Member is an individual that is enrolled at a college or university as a full-time undergraduate (12 or more credit hours) or graduate student (6 or more credit hours). Students need to provide proof of enrollment to join and/or renew. SHRM members who provide a valid SHRM ID will receive $25 refund once validated by SHRM. Not Eligible for renewal. Renewal must be done by phone by calling 615-499-5150

Small Business Owners / Professional Plus Membership
Specifically designed for small employers without HR professional staff and lists two members, such as the owner, office manager, accountant, executive assistant, administrative assistant, etc., with “all access".

Monthly Membership Billing Option - Choose "Set It and Forget It"
As an alternative to the annual fee, we also offer the option for monthly recurring billing. **After making the initial payment, you will be contacted via email or phone to set up your ACH AutoPay. Email [email protected] if you have any questions.
- Affiliate or Professional Membership: $29 initial payment then just $10 a month with a required 12-month subscription via credit card charge.
- Small Business Owners / Professional Plus Membership: $29 initial payment then $20 a month with a required 12-month subscription via credit card charge.
Corporate Discount Program
Designed for companies with five or more employees that want to join MTSHRM. This is not a corporate owned membership. Each employee owns their own membership. Volume discounts are as follows:
- 5-10 members receive 15% discount
- 11-15 members receive 20% discount
- 16-25 members receive 30% discount
To get started, appoint one individual to be the company point of contact for your employees. The company point of contact should send a list of participating employee names and email addresses to MT|SHRM at [email protected]. MT|SHRM will email instructions directly to each employee about how to activate their membership. Upon completion of all employee applications, MT|SHRM will invoice the company for payment. Memberships will be activated upon receipt of payment
