Who is the HR Career Transition Group?
The HR Career Transition Group consists of individuals with all levels of HR experience and expertise that are in the process of looking for their next professional opportunity.
The goal of the group is to help HR professionals in job transition, new graduates, or those seeking advancement in the HR field. The purpose of our group is to facilitate Networking, share Job Opportunities, discuss current job market trends, teach Interviewing Techniques, assist with Resume Preparation, and provide Guest Speakers who are leaders in their Field and/or Industry. Other objectives for the team are: Maintaining professional association with HR professionals while in transition or seeking advancement in the HR field; Learning from other experiences (rejection & opportunities), and providing ongoing communication to the community about our organization and its members.
How do I join?
During this time of the COVID-19 crisis, we have suspended our in-person meetings until at least June 2020 and will be offering many virtual programs, almost on a weekly basis, to help educate or members on how they can help their organizations through these uncertain times. The Career Transition Group will meet by webinar format for the foreseeable future following the schedule outlined on our calendar of events. Once you “join” you will receive all of the job leads and future meeting details. You also will work with one of our board members to get your bio prepared. Your bio will be sent to companies and recruiters looking for HR professionals. Group members must attend at least one meeting in a 3-month period or will no longer receive the distribution of leads and their bio will no longer be circulated. We announce when members have found positions and ask that we be notified if you change positions or are no longer in need of information from the group.

Time: 3:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
