Career Transition Group

Looking for meaningful, rewarding work in HR?

You are not alone. The HR Transition Group meets twice a month to network, discuss and share job leads, ideas for a structured job search, creating a personal brand, practicing the "30 second commercial", resume reviews, networking and interviewing skills, etc. We have helped many MTSHRM members navigate their job search in the past – and we would like to help you as well. Meetings are held online from 4:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. CT every other week. There is no cost to attend these events, but registration is required. Use the calendar to locate the meeting date that works for you and register. Please click here to view a sample agenda.

Once you “join” you will receive all of the job leads and future meeting details. You also will work with one of our board members to get your bio prepared. Your bio will be sent to companies and recruiters looking for HR professionals. Group members must attend at least one meeting in a 3-month period or will no longer receive the distribution of leads and their bio will no longer be circulated. We announce when members have found positions and ask that we be notified if you change positions or are no longer in need of information from the group.
