Breakfast Series hosted by MTSU SHRM
Creating and Sustaining a High-Impact Mentoring Program: The Art and the Science
Presented by Caleb McLaughlin, Program Manager of Leadership Development, Robert Half International
At Robert Half, professional mentoring has been a critical factor in the improvement and support of a healthy company culture, particularly for its field operations. Staffing companies have struggled to retain field talent in this highly competitive environment, and The American Staffing Association (2019) estimates an average 25% annual turnover of recruiters and sales account managers in staffing companies across the country.
At Robert Half, that percentage has been cut in half for Sales and Staffing Leaders who participate in the one-to-one mentoring program, the RH United Leadership Exchange. As such, mentoring has begun to integrate deeper and deeper into the culture and operations of the organization as a whole.
This session is intended to share Robert Half’s journey through designing and implementing mentoring programs, gaining buy-in from sr. leaders and participants, and measuring ongoing impact. We hope you come away with a further developed understanding of how you might introduce or enhance a mentoring culture in your own organization.
