Women’s Voices in the Workplace
Presented by a Panel Discussion

Gender diversity in the workplace drives innovation and performance.  The presence of more women does not automatically mean greater equality.  Panelists will share simple actions HR professionals and leaders can take to further gender equality in the workplace. Get tips for amplifying women's voices at work, including how to use your power to pass the mic to those whose voices often go unheard.   

Topics to be covered include:

  • Understand the impact of gender bias in the workplace and the business case for addressing it
  • Identify opportunities and challenges women face in today’s COVID-19 environment
  • Discuss the benefits of gender equity policies and organizational strategies designed to promote and amplify women in the workplace

Biographies:

Kieran Cheux is the information governance analyst at HealthTrust Purchasing Group (HealthTrust), a wholly-owned, indirect subsidiary of HCA Healthcare. HealthTrust improves outcomes through superior purchasing power for approximately 1,500 hospitals and healthcare systems and members in more than 32,500 non-acute locations, which includes ambulatory surgery centers, physician practices, long-term care and alternate care sites within the United States, the United Kingdom, and a representative office in Shanghai, China. Kieran ensures HealthTrust business analytics provides comprehensive, consistent, and the most reliable data for leadership and customers to make the informed decisions.

Dr. Aigner George is a corporate consultant pharmacist and host of Nashville New Podcast. She is a proud alumnus of Hampton University.   Aigner started her career in academia with Florida A&M University as an assistant professor of pharmacy. She has held a number of leadership positions in addition to her current role as Senior Director of Pharmacy Solutions. Aigner is active with a number of organizations. She serves as the chair of the Young Leaders Society steering committee of the United Way of Greater Nashville. Dr. George is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and serves as the chair the chapter’s strategic planning committee. She is also is a management training and development facilitator as a Model-Netics associate.

Scott Kelly leads broad-based and executive compensation for LifePoint Health, a leading healthcare company dedicated to Making Communities Healthier®. LifePoint owns and operates community hospitals, regional health systems, physician practices, outpatient centers and post-acute facilities across the country. Prior to joining LifePoint, he held leadership roles in compensation and people analytics at HCA HealthCare. Scott began his career as a college admissions professional and transitioned into HR as a Consultant at Mercer. He holds an MBA and MS in Human Resource Development from St. John Fisher College and a BS in Management Science from State University of New York at Geneseo.
