Tackling Difficult Disability Accommodation Issues
Presented by Fred Bissinger, Regional Managing Member, Wimberly Lawson

The ADA continues to perplex many employers.  THE EEOC is vigorously enforcing the ADA, especially failure to accommodate claims.  In FY 2019, ADA Charges ranked as the second most commonly filed charge, after retaliation.  So, it is imperative that employers understand what qualifies as an ADA protected disability, when they are on notice of a need for reasonable accommodation, how to work through the reasonable accommodation interactive process, and how to grapple with difficult disability issues.  This session will explore those issues.
