Biographies:
Dr. Desireè (desi-e-ray) Kelly
is the Public Health and Education Manager atMental Health America of the MidSouthwhere she oversees the Youth Erasingthe Stigma Program and the Mind theWorkplace Wellness Program. She hasover twenty-five years’ experience as aneducator, curriculum developer andtrainer. She specializes in designing andimplementing curricula for variousgenerational cohorts in diverse topics,specifically mental health education andself-care resources.

Dr. Tom Starling is in his 11th year serving as CEO of Mental Health America of the MidSouth, and he is currently the board chair for the national MHA in D.C.  He holds a BA in psychology from Baylor, an MDiv in theology from SW Baptist Seminary, an MA in medical ethics from Vanderbilt University, and a doctorate in educational administration from Tennessee State University.  Starling has 5 years of experience in ministry, 10 years of experience in university administration, and over 20 years of experience as a nonprofit leader.  He is the recipient of several awards and recognitions, prides himself on low staff turnover, and currently resides with his family in Murfreesboro, TN.
