Federal Benefits Workforce Education
Presented by Frank Cardenas, President & Co-Founder FEDlogic, Inc.

FEDlogic brings the knowledge in helping solve the informational barrier between the federal government and the constituents that they serve. Our presentation dives into the why on these benefits and breaks down the complexities for HR professionals and the employees that they serve. Lastly, we give perspective on the positive effects of having an educated workforce regarding federal and state benefits, thus saving employers on health care costs, but more importantly, helping families in their time of need.

This session will address questions/objectives such as:

  • A basic understanding on Social Security Benefits and why they are complex.
  • Decisions for Couples / Employees on Medicare.
  • Timing for application for SSA benefits
  • Decisions for Widowers
  • Disability (worker, disabled child)
  • Retirement Benefits and the Social Security Trust Fund
  • Planning opportunities and helpful hints from our years of experience

Doors open at 11:00 am for registration and networking. Buffet lunch begins at 11:20 am, and the presentation starts promptly at 12 noon.

Biography: Frank's passion for serving individuals has led him into a career of public service. With nearly a decade of experience working for The Social Security Administration; first as a Claims Adjudicator, then an Area Operations Analyst, and lastly as an Operational Supervisor- his focus became to solve an informational gap between the government and the people they serve.

After receiving two Master's degree’s, in Public Administration and Health Administration & Planning, his focus became on ways he could better provide the knowledge he had acquired. In November 2015, he, along with his wife, formed the company, FEDlogic Inc., which navigates individuals and families through Federal Benefits such as Social Security Retirement, Disability, Spousal, Widow, Child, SSI, Medicaid, and Medicare.
