The New EEOC Guidance and Using Training as a Defense
Presented by Katie Yeager, Associate, Baker Donelson Bearman Caldwell & Berkowitz

In this session, we will discuss the EEOC's new guidance on training, its recommendations to employers, and its insight as to what constitutes adequate or effective training. We will also discuss the use of employment law training in establishing an affirmative defense to harassment claims and review recent cases in which training played a key role in the establishment of the affirmative defense.

Attendees will learn about proactive measures their organizations can take to implement compliant and effective training programs to prevent and address harassment in the workplace.
