other local Human Resource Professionals.

the team to share job leads, motiviate one another, and generally

5. Q: How is membership in MT|SHRM different from membership in national
SHRM?
A: The MT|SHRM chapter affiliates with national SHRM. National SHRM
offers some research, white papers and national assistance to the chapters
as well as several annual conferences. MT|SHRM offers regional programs
as well as additional opportunities to meet local colleagues. Each
organization has a separate dues structure. An HR professional in middle
Tennessee can join one organization without joining the other, although we
highly recommend belonging to both MT|SHRM and national SHRM.
6. Q: What are the dues for MT|SHRM?
A: Dues in the local chater are $99/year if a member is not a national member
(and includes national members who DO NOT designate our chapter, #0083
as primary) and $89/year for those national members who provide us with
their national member number AND designate chapter 0083 as primary.
