21st Century Leadership: Understanding The Psychology of Followership
Presented by Dan Haile, Managing Principal, Haile Coaching & Leadership

Frequently today, organizations thrust successful managers into full-blown leadership roles without adequately preparing them for their new role, or even inquiring whether they really WANT to be a leader (and assuring them it's OK if they don't!)  Consequences of such capriciousness are often organizational ineffectiveness and unsatisfactory results, and worst case scenarios can result in losing/terminating strong mid-level managers who either aren't cut out for leadership or whom haven't been provided a reasonable foundational training in what constitutes effective 21st century leadership.

Attendees will learn:

  • What absolutely, succinctly defines the key tactical behaviors essential to being an effective leader today.
  • The criticality of understanding the psychological motivators for those we would lead.
  • Understanding the vital nature and components of trust that are imperative to this leader/follower relationship.

Schedule: Doors open at 11:00 am for registration and networking. Buffet lunch begins at 11:20 am, and the presentation starts promptly at 12 noon.
